I am a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Ocean Sciences at the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science of the University of Miami.
I conduct research in physical oceanography, focusing on atmosphere-ocean interactions, oceanic surface boundary layer dynamics, meridional overturning circulation dynamics, and the general oceanic circulation. I am interested in the nature of oceanic and atmospheric observational and modeled data, and more generally in time series and covariance analyses of environmental data.
